The American Civil War Society is the largest ACW society in Britain who portray the life and battles of this nationwide conflict. Army camps are recreated, with camp life and drill, using canvas tents, costumes of the period and open cooking fires, they give a taste of what life was like for soldiers and their families in 1860`s America.
